Break It Down Show

We illustrate life by gathering perspectives, achievements and moments that define us.

Feb 13, 2017

Co-Hosts Jon and Pete return to visit Dr. Robert Greenberg to discuss: life, music, pipe organs, other organs and the life and influence of Pete's dad Robert Turner who passed away on January 18. The show opens with Dr. Bob playing on the Steinway for a bit including a version of Pete's Dad's self penned church Hymn, Worship and Adore.

Dr. Bob discusses the tendency for piano and organ players to lead orchestral music. While keyboard players tend to be up front, Jon and Dr. Bob notice that drummers are like catchers who lead by seeing the whole field and making decisions that keep the orchestra rooted.

As always, Dr. Bob pours drinks. Joining in the martini fun is Pete's daughter Brenna, who has become a regular on trips to Dr. Bob's house.
